---On October 5 at South Platte Reservoir SW Bay, Frank Farrell reported a kingbird and Michael Lester checked it out and identified it as TROPICAL KINGBIRD.  It was on the power lines above the reservoir.  This would be a new state record if accepted.

KIOWA COUNTY:

---On October 3 at US 385 and CR G, Tony Leukering reported 2 Swainson’s Hawk, Chestnut-collared Longspur, and McCown’s Longspur.
