Good afternoon,

I’m reaching out with an exciting volunteer opportunity! Fairmount Park Conservancy is leading a volunteer planting event this Friday 9/12 from 5pm-7pm at the Johnny Sample Recreation Center, 280 Cobbs Creek Pkwy, Philadelphia, PA 19139.

While the recreation center is still under construction, the Conservancy is welcoming folks to the site to help plant 2,000 native perennial plants on site. It’s a great opportunity to get involved in the improvement project, and to get outside with neighbors in this beautiful weather and put your mark on this great project.
