Due to our 21 volunteers (3 regulars [Chris, Kevin, & Mike] & 16 Pen Vet grad students) we did a bang up job.
This section of the park has never looked so good

That is we removed 20 bags, a car door, 2 PGW horses, most of the fallen branches, swept a section of the sidewalk, cleared the tree debris from the gutter, the weeds from the subway support, and the litter from a steep embankment.
Four intrepid vet students  [Victoria (student leader), Megan, Damian, and Candais}, volunteered to retrieve the trash from the embankment where the footing was very precarious.

Thanks to Parks & Rec for cutting a large branch from a tree overgrown with ivy

In the middle of the cleanup Parks & Rec came and picked up 15 bags.
A local trash collector picked up the car door.
Leaving only 5 bags at the end.

One bad note. One of the locals came, signed in, and walked off with a bucket and a picker.
