Good morning,
Natural Lands and the Darby Creek Valley Association are working together to prepare a Resilience, Conservation and Management Plan for the Darby Creek Watershed. This plan analyzes existing land use patterns, zoning, natural resources and other features and
policies to determine their effects on the watershed and its residents.
We’d like you to share your thoughts on how to enhance the Darby Creek Watershed and we would appreciate your organization completing this
questionnaire. The results from this questionnaire
will inform an update to the Darby Creek Watershed Resilience, Conservation and Management Plan, which was last updated in 2002.
We are planning an October gathering for all the stakeholders working in the region to hear about the plan. We would like this meeting to be the start of an annual or biannual watershed wide meeting to coordinate resilience efforts and learn from each other.
Your organization’s response to the questionnaire will help us refine content for this meeting.
If your organization is willing to promote this effort on your website or via mailing lists, we would appreciate it. Please feel free to respond to this email and we can provide you with additional promotional materials.
The way we care for this landscape affects us all—we appreciate your thoughts and perspectives.
