Cobalt Certification about the performance of YouTuBe TV HTML5  Technical Requirements 2018
14.5.3 The target device MUST be able to complete a browse-to-watch transition within 1.5 seconds, measuring from the time the first frame update is initiated to the time the video content begins playback and factoring out network transfer times.

How should I understand about factoring out network transfer times ? May I understand that the network transfer times include the download time for all the resources of the browser-to-watch transition?

Thanks

Hi bigham0322,

Your question does not fit with this mailing list. As it is not related to Cobalt features, technical discussions, roadmap. Can you please work with your YouTube technical account manager for the certification specific questions?
