What are the reasons behind integrating Chromium source code into Cobalt starting with the Cobalt 2026 release?

I’ve noticed that in the Cobalt 2026 source code,
a large portion of Chromium has already been integrated,
making it fundamentally different from Cobalt 2025.

What is the long-term direction for Cobalt?
Is it expected to further align with or increasingly merge Chromium components in future releases?

and I can see chrobalt, what's the meaning of chrobalt?
