County closed bridge to motor vehicles until it can be replaced. Bridge will remain open for bicyclists and pedestrians.

Type of Work: Replace existing 33'-6" AGL metal pole with new 39'-1" AGLE (38'-9" total) Valmont metal pole, installing new telecommunications equipment. See attached drawing for more details and scope of work.
Extent of closure: Partial lane closure, partial sidewalk closure. See page 19 of submitted drawing. Areas will be reopened for the evening once the crew completes for the day.
Expected date and/or duration: 9/8/2025-3/8/2026
Work is expected to take about 3 days to complete.

The project is expected to be completed by approximately 2:30 p.m. If work extends beyond that time, a lane restriction will remain in place through the afternoon.

Lane Restriction; expect short delays, signage in place.
Mayer Najem is requesting lane shifts on W Arlington Rd adjacent to as part of the project located at 1320 W Arlington Rd. This request is for Sanitary sewer and storm upgrades, tapping water for the site, and transportation infrastructure updates totaling 7012 sq ft of non pavement and 7670 sq ft of pavement excavations. The traffic control is planned to be in place starting in early spring, currently estimated to be from March 2nd, 2026 through June 16th, 2025.
Mayer Najem has supplied maintenance of traffic plans for all work. As a condition of the issuance of the ROW permit they will also be required to post signage notifying the public about the lane shifts at least 3 weeks prior to closure implementation.
