Attached is an email which I have just sent to the Council Planners regarding above.

 

I found the geotechnical report carried out on the site of the proposed land fill for Neil Baudinet, when he owned the property,  about 12 years ago.

 

What I am finding increasingly of concern is the total 'disconnect' between the Council's Planning Dept and local community opinions. The arrogance of the Planning Dept to think they can 'dump' a land fill on any community without the community having any say in the matter is something which should not be possible, let alone tolerated. I shall take this up with Rodney Local Board, who has already asked for a moritorium on all landfilling in Rodney.
