Is there another location in the forge file system I need to change for this to take effect. I hope I have enough info to see what I'm doing wrong and sorry if it something easy and I'm over looking something. Thanks

Hi, I accidentally made my skin backward as in the face is facing backward as well as the body so my character looks like they are walking backward in the game. If anyone would be willing to fix this for me or let me know how to fix it myself that would amazing. Btw I made it in skindex.

The main body has no detail for the sides under the arms, where the blank area breaks up the line in the middle. That part is made of 4 for the side, 8 for the front, 4 for the other side, and 8 for the back, so swap the 8's with each other and draw in details for the 4's that are blank.

hi to fix your skin is simple just click this link it works with skin from skindex and follow these steps. Click on select skin texture image and select your skin then click download flipped skin and you are done!

My friend made her Minecraft account when she was around 8, she's now 11. I don'tknow for sure if the skin she is stuck with was her first ever after default Steve. Still, after uploading her custom skin, she couldn't change it. Does this have to do with how old her account is? The email?

Did you make sure to hit "Save" under save and upload? That could be why, or maybe the skin file is too large/small. If you need, use Skin Craft becuase it is an easy way to make skins, and will automatically size them for you.

This had happened to me before. I had changed my skin but it showed a steve skin. This problem might be that you have the skin on but in your view it looks like a steve. Luckily I had another account for minecraft. in its view, it showed my skin. If you want more detail, please put more information like what did you do? What skin did you upload? Try using this website.

I often create custom skins and then use the handy online skinpack converter tool, and then add the .mcpack files to MinecraftEdu. However, since 1.20, the skins only show up for the person playing and not for others in the game.

I've seen the same issue with textures, client side i have been working through the Animal Rescue Center Lessons and noticing a lot of the textures are turned into default in the lessons where they were custom before.

I've created dozens of skins over the years, but unfortunately, as of late, I've been having problems with getting minecraft to work properly with some of my old skins. (Note: I'm speaking of the Windows 10 version of Minecraft, not the full PC version, which I also own.) For example, I have several skins that I've modified to work with the animated player mod on the full version, that cause the Win 10 version to crash when selected. I know there have been other skins that have given me trouble as well, but this was what just happened to me a few minutes ago. The problem is that I had to reinstall the game once before because I couldn't figure out how to get the game running again. Every time I tried to restart it, it would show the Mojang logo and then die. However, because this happened a second time to me today, I ran through everything a second time, and figured out how to fix it. All you need is your mouse, keyboard and the %AppData% folder.

First, we have to access Win 10 edition's file system. To do that, we have to get into the hidden AppData folder. To get to the AppData folder, click on your C drive in windows explorer. Then, at the location bar at the top, type in "C:\%AppData%" minus the quotation marks. This will take you to the AppData Roaming folder. We don't want this folder, so at the location bar up top click on the word AppData to go to the main page.

Then, click on the folder that says local, and then in the search bar, search for Minecraft (with a capital M). A folder with MinecraftUWP in it's name should appear. Click on it to enter the app's folder. If more than one appears, you'll have to try the following steps on both folders to make sure the errored file is deleted.

In order to get Win 10's version to work again, we need to delete the file that it doesn't like and set the settings back to a default skin. To do this, navigate to the folder pictured in the location bar in the picture above. It should be labeled minecraftpe.

Skins change how your character looks in the game of Minecraft. Everyone starts with the classic Steve and Alex skins but players customize their avatar by downloading or creating custom skins. It's like character creation except while you're limited by the simplistic blocky model, you have unlimited possibilities because every pixel matters. Technically, a Minecraft skin is just a small .png image file that wraps around your player model changing its appearance in the game. You don't have to settle with one persona when you can choose from over a million custom skins uploaded by the community to Planet Minecraft!

The easiest way to customize your Minecraft skin is downloading them. You can download skins for different occasions, characters and purposes. When you find the right skin on Planet Minecraft, you'll see options for changing your skin or downloading the image file to import in your game. If you're using Java Edition, you can simply change your skin and it will automatically upload it to your minecraft.net account. If you're using Windows 10 Bedrock Edition, download the skin file, open Minecraft and import the file from your skin settings. Consider leaving some kind feedback on the skin creators content!

If you can't find the perfect Minecraft skin for you, consider creating your own with our Minecraft Skin Editor! Who knows, maybe you'll have so much fun, you'll upload skins for others to download! Whether you're a novice or advanced Minecraft skinner, you can find inspiration for your next skin by browsing trending Minecraft skins. New personas, characters, objects and artistic interpretations are uploaded every day! You can learn new skin design techniques by studying the details of your favorite Minecraft skins or following tutorials on Minecraft Skinning.

I have deleted minecraft 3 times, signed out 3 times, and restarted my device 3 times. I give up, since it is on both pc and Playstation of Bedrock. Its on your guys side, please fix this. I dont want to look demonic this holiday season!

You have three options when creating your skin. You can choose from template skins (provides you with a head, but no clothes), community skins (skins created by other users), or start on your own blank skin. I chose the Hunter skin created by Andiman117, and edited the head to make it look somewhat like me.

I work at a primary school called St Albans Meadows in Melbourne Australia (www.samps.vic.edu.au) and also as an Apple Distinguished Educator. I would love to set up some kind of program/mentorship with your students.

Replaces the usually flat second layer of player skins with a 3d modeled version. Will automatically switch to the vanilla 2d rendering when players are further away than 12 blocks in order to increase the framerate. Also supports transparent parts on things like glasses!

Not happy with your current skin selection in Minecraft Dungeons? Thankfully, selecting a new skin can be done in a mere few clicks of button. To change your skin, simply head to the main menu screen and press the Change Skin button that can be found at the bottom right of your screen. Pressing this button will bring up all of your available skins to pick from. Once you have chosen your new skin, select it and press the Done button in the center of the screen.

While you may find your DLC skins through the skin selector above, you will find your remaining DLC content when viewing the cosmetic option via a small tab that can be found through your characters in-game inventory.

Ely.by aims to create a worthy alternative to official Minecraft related services by providing more pleasant design and user-friendly interface. Probably we have already reached this goal but our mind flies faster than Mojang's one. That why Ely offers features, that you won't find in an official skin system.

Unlike the official skins system, Ely.by has it's own skins catalog, where you can find thousands of variable skins, uploaded by other users. All the skins can be filtered by various parameters such as color, type, popularity, tags etc. Moreover you can upload skin from other skin catalogs just by providing an URL. The rest of work will be done by our clever parser.

Ely.by provides free skins system service, that wraps official one to provide more capabilities than official skin system has. Our goal is to create an opportunity for players with official and unofficial clients to install skins they like and play together on any Minecraft server.

Moreover Ely.by offers an isomorphic authorization service. This will let your players to play on your server using their Ely.by accounts. You won't need to waste your time on implementing your own authorization system and your players won't be bored with another one registration or using authme plugin. They will simply use their Ely.by account for every server they want to play.

In addition to server and launcher authorization we have an oAuth too, which will let your players log in to your website using their Ely.by accounts as they do with their social network's accounts (e.g. Facebook, Google, Twitter etc.).

Join Noctis, Gladio, Ignis and Prompto once again as they venture beyond the world of Eos and into the untold realms of Minecraft with this fantastic skin pack. Be it friend or foe, the cast of FINAL FANTASY XV follows, including Cindy, Aranea, Ardyn, the Astrals and many more.

But for the creatives who love the design and crafting aspects of Minecraft, don't worry: In reality, your character's cosmetic choices are virtually limitless. For Java edition users, you can find or create a skin, upload it, and enjoy. And Bedrock users have that option and more through its character creator tool.
