This is to let you know that Wilson Yuri’s health condition has not shown any sign of improvement and the Doctor is discharging him from Lenakel hospital on wheel-chair and his relatives are suppose to that him to his home village today. According to the Doctor’s report Wilson has suffered a “right cerebrovascular” i.e. a mini stroke, which consequently caused paralysis or permanently disabled.

Due to the fact that there is no wheel-chair available we have requested VNPF on his behalf to purchase one from his medical contribution/entitlement and I am glad to inform you that VNPF has approved our request and he should get his wheel-chair by tomorrow 02 August 2012.

The Director and I have sent Peter James to Tanna last week on the Fisheries Behalf and to talk to his relatives on what assistance Fisheries can give, which they were glad to hear and accepted.

As the heard of development Division I would like to take this opportunity to ask everybody to prayer for Wilson’s recovery.

Thanks Graham for the latest info on our Tafea's FDO's health condition. The best we can do for him now is to asses what he needs to be well taken care of whist being sick, and that he receives his early retirement based on medical grounds.

Kind Regards,

Alsen Obed
