Work plan for 2011

This is to let you all know that I have only received work plans from Jimmy Willie, George Amos, Boatyard and Andrew Firiam. Everybody else none and I urge everybody to do so before the end of this week. April is already the middle of the year and not the month for work plan.

 

 Activities should already be halfway through in April. We will not allocate you with an LPO for activities that are not in a work plan. Proper planning will help us to economize our budget spending so that you have a fair share to implement your activities. If you plan ahead you will be guarantee budget for your activities every monthly warrant release.

Thank you Graham and will forward any outstanding work plan tomorrow except Kevin Moris who will forward his to me as soon as he arrives at Lakatoro today. ( He cannot remember what he has planned it and saved it in his pc). I find it difficult to locate Penama Officer since I have returned from leave, Graham. Otherwise I fully agree you in that we should be carrying out prioritized activities in respective work plans already. Get back to you soon.

Please find attached Graham two out of three work plans for 2011 for the Northern Fisheries Office Fin & Admin Officer and the Principal CFDO's. I have seen Kevin's draft work plan this evening, but will be working with him to edit and will be emailed by Friday this week. Our Implementation Plans will be emailed as well tomorrow. You will notice we have a meeting and consequently agreed that all of our workplans will be edited including Marcel's, Jimmy and George's work plans will be edited to cover some issues discussed during our meeting here in santo to reflect the Director's vision to see FD strengthening provincial Centers in terms of capacity, infrastructure, telecommunications access etc..in addressing our motto " We are aiming higher and reaching further". I hope there is a general understanding between us up north and southern team for such changes to be accommodated.For example here CFD needs to give more support to see more quality RFT provided by VMC as a result.

I am thinking of coming down to santo nexk week to pay a short visit and discuss with you and staffs my vision.  I will let you know once I confirm the dates.  As regards to the whale, would it be possible to remove its tooth?

Thank you Director and I hope we (Graham and us) will finalize all work plans with all FDOs this week and will be forwarded to you for your information. I am excited as much as Graham to see all 6 officers implementing our visions in their respective provinces after a long time. I am counting on your directions on Penama in the north and Tafea in the south.

bin plan for.weather FDO should know his total buget for one year, or
not. from january to may no active done. just monitor the office work.
am still waiting for my standing impress and touring impress. my
outstanding touring for last year not yet payed, [my housing rent and
chirld allowance not yet paied. some of the clame i will be taking it
for holiday+one month holiday on the month of auguest 2011.

Good Afternoon Willie,

I note from Graham's touring programm for PFDOs presented to HODs this afternoon that your west Vanua - Lava tour is rescheduled to June 2011 and for Torres Group in July 2011.  This timing is based mainly on release of warrants.  It is also important to keep in mind that there is still alot of work that needs to be done within your duty station while waiting for your touring imprest, such as:

1.  writing of progress reports;

2.  awareness talks with coastal communities within area of duty station;

3.  meetings with provincial officials and community leaders on matters concerning development options of fisheries resources with respective provinces and possible drafting of fisheries management and development polices for respective provinces;

4. fetc.

Nettie - please follow up with Willie's housing and child allowance.
