I just saw sometime on Trainorders.com. About the Arcade Car is gone.

And I understand there is talk about. Making a Business Class section.

I would think a business class would be great to have. But I think. It
should be a full car. But just a section.

But I wonder, Would a business Class Section do well on a Long Distance Train.

And Should it be a section or a full car?

Isn't better to be on the lower level of a Superliner as this will allow some access control and keep passers-thru to a minimum?

I think there definitely is a market for this on the daytime runs of 11/14 and then an appeal to those who either cannot afford or cannot book (due to sellouts) sleeper space.

This change appears to be moving ahead.  Brian Rosenwald also mentioned this at the most recent RailPAC meeting:

"In the works also is a “business class” section to replace the lower level “Kiddie Car” on the Coast Starlight, which would generate an additional $3 million. "
