Alternate Day 2 Routes?

Is there an alternate plan for day 2 if there are highway 1 closures in the Big Sur area? It's looking likely there will be storms through next week and given the saturated soil landslides are becoming more likely. Given the frequency of landslides in the Big Sur area was curious if there's an alternate route planned if needed.
