A Holiday Meeting

Greetings,

A late report on our last meeting, when five of us gathered for the usual good chat and eats. But the highlight was a sharing of some of the "Milestones" work. A stunningly simple image with blended colors by Norman, an exquisite Japanese garden image by Leslie, and a beautiful multi-layered native plant piece by Rebecca.

Another chance to share is our upcoming meeting. Those of in attendance thought to combine it with the holiday season, and the 3rd Sunday in December, the 15th, seems appropriate. Who knows, maybe someone will even bring holiday cookies?

Please let me know if this works for you. It would be great to have the whole group gather to see the old year out and celebrate our shared passion for letterpress.

Twas a very fine meeting with work to treasure.

There is still time for y'all to contribute to the Milestones project and get copies.

Either Sunday works for me.

Question - Who was telling me that they found a printer to do edge painting?? Tegan?

Thank you Michael for hosting the last meeting. I was blown away and inspired by all the milestone pieces last meeting. I just need to get my ducks in a row and create something to share. The December meeting sounds good to me. Nicasio is the mans name who did my edge painting he's in Astoria NY. I will try and find the company name and info for you. Please call me if I don't get back to you by today to remind me.

I am slowly swimming to the surface after pneumonia, and am happy to say that I am planning to come on the 15th. I will be even happier if I can say that I will be bringing a milestone piece, but will have to wait a bit on that ...
