Well, summer is supposedly almost over -- even tho it's 102 degrees on my front porch!

But we are meeting again on Sunday the 22nd for another round of letterpress chat, sharing of what we've been up to and our recent work and -- roll of drums and trumpet sounds please - the revelation of our "Encounter" pieces. And who knows, we might even discuss plans for the future - projects? LA Printers Fair in Compton? an exhibition somewhere? recruiting new members?

So please mark your calendars for the 22nd at 1:30 pm, again at my house in Ojai where I'll provide some wine and water and relish whatever you bring along.

Swimming pool will be open for those who wish after the meeting - and if this weather continues we'll need that!

Rebecca, you are absolutely right and god alone knows why "Encounters" popped into my heat addled brain.

Well, it seems I was wrong. My friend's mother died on the 15th, and it turns out that I will be in LA at her memorial service this Sunday.

I am planning to be at the Printers Fair on the 5th. I have nothing to sell, but would be happy to man a booth -- please sign me up for whatever is needed.
