That wonderful illustration reminds me of Winnie The Poo in hundred acre wood . I love Winnie the poo and I love trees . If ever I have a deep rooted problem ( ha ha sorry about the pun) I either pick up my complete book of Winnie The Poo ,that my son bought me , or walk in the woods ( winter) sit under a tree and watch the world go by ( summer) . A world without Winnie and trees ? is unthinkable.

Once a male finds and mates with a female, the female will burrow into the soil at the base of trees and lay her eggs about a foot down. When the eggs hatch, the larvae feed on the roots of the trees, focusing on the starches within the roots. After 2-3 years of feeding and growing, the larvae are enormous and look like this:
As someone with a Bachelor of Music, I can tell you there is no simple answer--surprisingly, perhaps. The simplest answer would be 'accompaniment', meaning the instrumental parts that accompany the vocal line. But if we were talking about a Wagner opera, for instance, and we just took out the vocal parts, calling what remained the 'accompaniment' would seem like belittling it. If you wanted to describe what remained of a popular song after the vocal line is gone, you could talk about 'the instrumental parts' or 'the accompaniment'. Neither is totally satisfactory but they are the best available options. Or you could refer to specifics, by saying 'the orchestral part' or 'the rhythm section' or 'the keyboard part' or whatever.
While I was out for a walk with my sister, she told me that the flowers that stick out in her mind are daffodils. In particular the daffodils that my granddad grew in Kildare. He had many different varieties growing in his garden when we were kids. He had the usual bright yellow ones that you see everywhere but he also had some unusual white and pale yellow varieties growing under trees. Susan always loved to pick the long tall stalks and bring them into the house so she could admire them!
We can all contribute to this virtuous circle by nourishing our urban and community forests, planting trees and learning about the essential qualities of these living, urban trees. By doing so, we gain a greater understanding of the role the forest can play in new environments with urban wood products.
It is important to talk about grief to help other heal. Been through my share of bad days, I talk about it too, to help others.
Thank you for sharing this. Hope these words will help someone somewhere. [no external links]
My husband passed suddenly and without warning in his sleep on Dec 16, 2018. His funeral was 5 days before Christmas. If anyone that attended his funeral or sent flowers is talking shit about me because I never sent a Thank you card? Fuck them.
After reading your comment about your father passing, I felt like I had written the words myself. My father died suddenly and we are all still in shock. He was warm, kind, funny, and very comforting. I still send him voicemails and listen to his voicemails to help remember his sweet nature. He always left me songs or bible verses. I have never felt so alone now that he is gone and being in the car makes me sad because I cant call and chat with him. Everything I do seems blank now that he has gone. My sister and I have become much closer trying to cope with his death, and the upcoming holidays seem daunting.
Jon: Being out in California, we have big problems with forest fires. You talk about prescribed burns in the movie. You also talk a little bit about the California wildfires. Two questions: Do you have any additional advice for us, and can we get you to help Gov. Gavin Newsom?
