From a distance, the Metal Slug series doesn't look too different from the countless side-scrolling shooters that were pervasive during the 16-bit era. You run to the right, shooting and tossing grenades at swarms of enemies while dodging their bullets, picking up weapon upgrades, and rescuing POWs, with the action regularly punctuated by screen-filling boss fights. As generic as that might sound, Metal Slug has always separated itself from the pack with a goofy sense of humor, nicely detailed 2D graphics, and the kind of manic, sometimes punishing gameplay that leaves your hands aching. You'll also regularly happen upon the titular metal slugs--high-powered armored vehicles that come in a variety of forms. At their most basic, slugs look like superdeformed tanks, but they can appear as helicopters, jets, submarines, mobile suits, camels, donkeys, and more.

Metal Slug Complete is an RPG, shooting game that attracts a large number of gunmen to join. The game consists of many consecutive maps, and they are only unlocked to continue when the player has passed the previous challenge. At the start of playing your character will own a fairly primitive attack weapon, but the more enemies you kill in succession, the longer your battle passed, your power will be enhanced. Along with possessing modern weapons with great destructive characters will have to face stronger opponents, this will make destroying them is no longer easy but requires a combination of Maneuver dodge bullets and attack smoothly. Besides the interesting experience, to increase the level of experience of the game with new features being released. That is the provision of the console version in this version to help two players in the wireless mode can play together and complete the task. At the same time, the resolution of the graphics has been increased from the standard 240p to 480i resolution (other versions have not been upgraded).

Room temperature liquid metal (galinstan, made up of gallium, indium and tin) is driven to oscillate by the phase change of water in the self-excited oscillating heat pipe (OHP) charged with liquid metal and water. The cross section of the channel is square with the dimension of 33 mm2. Liquid metal is a high-performance coolant with ultrahigh thermal conductivity (nearly 27 times higher than water). During the operation of OHP, liquid metal is pushed up by the vapor expansion in the evaporator section, and moves back by the vapor contraction and gravity effects. Then, liquid metal is driven to oscillate continuously between evaporator and condenser in the OHP. Surface tension of galinstan is 10 times higher than water, resulting in a ball shape of liquid metal in the channels. And there is a thin water film existing between liquid metal and inner surface. During the oscillating motion, liquid metal presents the characteristics of a mollusk. Soft liquid metal is extended into metal filament, or breaks up into small liquid metal balls. Then, small liquid metal balls coalesce into a long liquid metal slug, resulting in surface waves due to the released surface energy during the coalescence process. The deformation and deformation recovery of the liquid metal is the result of competition between deforming pressure forces and the reforming surface tension forces. Oscillations of liquid metal will generate flow field disturbance in the base fluid of water and further enhance the heat transfer performance in two-phase flow systems.

In 1896, the students of the Storrs Agricultural College established a student newspaper, "The Lookout". Published every month, "The Lookout" had a small, unpaid staff who laid out the pages by hand using tiny metal slugs with embossed letters from a printer's California job case. By 1914, the paper had changed its name to "The Connecticut Campus", reflecting the growth of the institution that had become the Connecticut Agricultural College in 1899, and the student newspaper increased its publication schedule to twice a month. The paper continued to grow along with the campus in Storrs, and in 1953 "The Connecticut Campus" -- which had moved from being published monthly, to weekly, and then to a three-days-a-week publication schedule -- made its last transition to becoming a daily newspaper. In 1955, the renamed "Connecticut Daily Campus" became a morning paper printed on newsprint. In the 1970's, the University of Connecticut Board of Trustees granted "The Connecticut Daily Campus" its independence from the Associated Student Government. Currently, "The Daily Campus" is the largest daily college newspaper in the state of Connecticut and employs more than 120 students during the academic year. Published Monday through Friday during the academic year, 10,000 copies are delivered to over 80 locations both on- and off-campus.
