Seeking vengeance upon the King, Agonius assumed the mantle of Lord Agony and created a clockwork army with the intent of destroying the kingdom. A war ensued, with heavy casualties on both sides. Eventually, two kingdom archineers, Kenan and Jacob, infiltrated Agony's fortress. The exact nature of the events that happened therein are not revealed until the end of the game - all that is known, at first, is that Agony was defeated, and Jacob was missing, presumed dead. Kenan, now a hero, took up the position of Chief Archineer.
The game itself begins some years after the events above. Lock is a young man living in a coastal village, along with his sister, Emi, and grandfather, Tobias. When this village (and indeed the entire kingdom) is attacked by a new army of clockworks, under a new Lord Agony, Lock enlists as an archineer and helps to fight the clockworks. After a long time, the Kingdom force prevails and the new Agony is defeated. At the climax of the plot, it is revealed that the new Lord Agony is none other than Jacob. Long ago, when Jacob reached Agonius' chamber, he found Agonius a frail and broken man. He also found the young Lock, who was himself clockwork, the greatest creation of Agonius. Jacob took Lock and raised him as a human, under the guise of Tobias. He created Emi, who is also clockwork, and the village in which Lock was raised.
At the end of the game, the King tells Lock that, despite being clockwork, he was truly alive, because Agonius had given Lock his soul. Conversely, Jacob could not bring himself to sacrifice his soul in order to give Emi true life, and so, in time, Emi would simply crumble to dust.
However, it is implied that Jacob, repentant and sorrowful for having waged war on the Kingdom, did eventually do so at Lock's request, and the final scene of the game is Lock and Emi playing tag on the beach.
You play as Lock, a boy who stumbles upon an invasion of his Village, which triggers a wider war between Kingdom Force and a revived Clockwork Army, led by the nefarious Lord Agony. A gripping story unfolds as you progress through 75 Days of warfare, across a dozen unique maps, aided by a collection of turrets, traps and special attacks. Experience the game as it was meant to be, with a high-quality soundtrack, new high resolution portraits, and revised gameplay.
it would be better if I could lock apps across additional accounts (as a separate extra setting option?) from my admin account or with a separate lock pattern (such as my admin unlock pattern) within the additional account.
Hello, Ta11Pau1 We saw that you were worried about the app lock system, and we recognize how depressing this may be. Since we value your feedback, we would like to invite you to visit our Ideas/ Suggestions page and share your ideas for things we could add.
Lock's Quest is a strategy-tower defense game focusing on the narrative story of the main hero, Lock, a young man growing in a seaside village with his sister Emi and his father Tobias. When his village is attacked by evil robots called Clockworks, and Emi goes missing, Lock sets out to become an Archineer and serve the nation and Kingdom Force to defend the world from Lord Agony's Clockwork army and stop them from stealing Source, a mystical resource used by the first age of Archineers to build the nation. Agonius, a well-known Archineer, sought out to use Source to create life, but when his efforts were halted by the King, he sought out revenge and created the mantle of Lord Agony and struck a Clockwork army against the nation in a climatic war.
Now that Lord Agony has somehow resurfaced, Help Lock to build impenetrable fortresses, powerful weapons, construct traps and helper bots, as well as meeting a handful of characters to aid Lock on his journey. Defeat Clockwork bosses, unlock new powers and abilites, explore and defend 17 total battlemaps, play mini-games, and be prepared to encounter some devastating plot twists throughout Lock's adventure!
Elite Brutes are the second upgrade to the Clockwork Brutes. They have much faster speed, stronger defense and power, but they drop 135 Source when destroyed. They are introduced at Dark Ridge.
The moves and abilities you unlock can compensate for some of this, particularly your lightning attack which unleashes damage on enemies across the field. But the tricky part, once again, comes down to timing. You have to build up a gauge for these special abilities by making Lock engage in melee combat. Unleashing these moves when the enemy advance is at its pinnacle can turn the tide in your favor, and can be incredibly satisfying when doing so.
I m on a soft lock Chapter 6 The Battle of Claw Island because a peculiar bug i know a work around but the Arena Suport team recommend me to post a Topic here on the forum about this bug
i hope this help anyone who is playing the main history with more friends
So i was playing for the 20 or + my own history but this time i was with Razor a norn and Khreiter a fellow charr we was at the same point in the history but the important point is I choose the Vigil
Razor the Order of whispers and khreiter the Durmand Priory as we whould play all lines and see all the 3 history at the end just join up on Claw Island
The first very missions of chapter 4 we agree Khreiter the one with least experience on the game to take the lead and call the instance all runs well until we have to accept the progress on our own history lines so i call it and razor accepted as well after that when i was waiting for khreiter to get the next instance i see a little problem thanks to razor who point the problem
My line and Razor as well was on Durmand Priory for some reason and i guess it was my fault to accept and because i call razor to accept as well until i play the Helping Hands chapter 5 where there ALOT of bugs like double NPC and a funny moment where i was with Forgal and Sieran when my game crash at the end because he couldn't handle is its forgal or sieran to talk to me because of that i rush the history ahead of my friends because i was already level 80 just to know if the history soft locks and it happens
On chapter 6 The Battle of Claw Island my guess the game dont know if he spawn my friend forgal or sieran and dont spawn any of them because of that i cant progress the history on the good side i know a workaround if another player like for example my friend Khreiter join me up and choose his instance who actually choose the priory at the end of the battle i can just accept the progress and
its done yet i still dont know if it will get stuck in a future mission but i will keep the topic updated as best as i can
Ah Yes the Bad side is i m a veteran player i dont worry about my history getting stuck i already done that as i say for the 20 time or even more but both Razor and Khreiter are new commers Razor is a old player who abaddon because no friends was playing with him and Khreiter is first time on like most of the steam new players i see around they could get stuck as i did and as razor are now
Another thing is I'm no English from so sorry for any words i speel wrong and bad text despite i dont need translators my english still a little rusty Speaking of that i choose the tittle of the topic as the first thing who comes to my mind sorry if i put something wrong or that can misguide someone
Thanks in advance for anyone looking into my problem
and sorry if there already a topic about this very problem i dont find it around the forum so i did post mine
the problem is i think the same and for some reason it throws me into a quest line isn't mine as i say above i choose the vigil and as i accept the progress on khreiters istance it push me to the durmand priory quest line
both me and razor my other friend play the story individually choosing our own choises along the history but after accepting the progress to go on our choices on order of whispers (him) and vigil (mine) just was throw away like we never did that choice before and not even the game can handle that as you can see in the print there forgal and sieran in the same instance what is impossible if you play normaly
I determined by experimentation that the icon indicates that a quest is "locked" on the quest tracker, i.e. placed there manually, as opposed to the "free floating" or automatically displayed quests. Quests placed on the tracker manually will not be removed until they are finished or manually removed.
The most prominent side of the game is in the tower defence. At the beginning of each map you are allocated some Source which is used to purchase different tower and wall types. Early on these structures are made of wood, and come with a standard one directional turret. As you progress, more tower types are unlocked that might fire acid to deal damage over time, glue to slow enemies down, shoot in multiple directions, and helper towers that can detect hidden enemies or increase turret range. There are also traps that can be placed that have similar effects to the turrets, and in some instances you can even deploy a couple of soldiers.
The story begins very traditionally as we are introduced to the protagonist, Lock. He lives in a small seaside village with his sister, Emi, and his grandfather, Tobias. He's an orphan because his parents, both Archineers, died in a war when he was young. An injured Archineer shows up and the village is soon invaded by clockworks. When Emi goes missing, Lock sets out to find her, ending a war and saving the world along the way.
The majority of the game consists of protecting source wells and people from waves of clockworks. Gameplay is divided into days, and each day typically consists of two sections: Building and Battle. In the Building section, players are usually given two to three minutes to set up the usual defences: walls, turrets, traps, and the like. The Battle section is where the Action Game elements come in, as players fight clockworks directly and repair defences in real time to fulfill win conditions, which are usually defending objectives and surviving for a few minutes. Some others include defeating boss enemies or capturing enemy source wells.
