Hello Ms. Pelle!

Jamborees are nice but when is the Community-At-Large going to receive the information promised to them over 2 months ago regarding the Consultants on the Brownfield issue (as you know the Community was not involved with choosing these consultants) in the Valley of North Harlem with the additional information about the projects they have worked on previously.

I am concerned that with these late disclosures (and apparently there is more to come) the following is getting ready to happen:
  1. The report by these consultants is going to be revealed soon (even possibly to those in the community you (pre-)select to know the findings).
  2. The information is purposefully being provided so very late to
    1. Limit a thorough investigation and evaluation of these "consultants" by the Community-At-Large
    2. Blunt any Community-At-Large objection to the choice of these "consultants"

Hello Ms. Pelle!

As you may recall Ms. Pelle the information about the consultants (on which the Community-At-Large was not initially consulted and who were not ultimately chosen by the Community-At-Large) were apparently provided initially to a limited chosen few.

A list of individual consultant names have not been provided openly to the Community-At-Large (although it has been repeatedly requested) to even allow the Community-At-Large to conduct individual research if it even wanted to do it.

Hopping around reviewing websites of consultants would present the Community with a time consuming labyrinthine style search for information.  An unnecessary burden for a Community-At-Large who should have been involved with an open "Brownfield" process from the beginning.

HCCI and all involved in the "sneakiness" of this process should stop trying to get the Community-At-Large to accept their "underhanded" approach and just do the right thing.

The "RIGHT THING" for HCCI in particular would possibly have been,
  1. To engage the community openly with "real" community outreach and not try to use a selected group of people to make decisions for an entire Community.
  2. To provide the information promised 3 months ago on the consultants in a comprehensive document format.
  3. To apologize to the Community for not having a consistent open process regarding the Brownfield issue and decision making about the Brownfield issue (on the "Bad" property).
  4. To beg the Community for forgiveness "on bended knee" for HCCI manipulating the development process to deny the community a "State of the Art" Library and "State of the Art" Multi-functional Facility that had been in the planning for 30 years and allow HCCI to build housing to make money.
  5. To beg the Community for forgiveness "on bended knee" for HCCI taking development issues to Community Board 10 before presenting them to the affected community and receiving the Community-At-Large approval for the development projects (On the "Good" Property).
  6. To beg the Community for forgiveness "on bended knee" for HCCI not protecting the ability of the Community-At-Large to continue to live and stay in the neighborhood the Residents grew up in and for not building housing that would have allowed former residents to come back to their community.

You have an enjoyable weekend as well.

As you may recall Dr. Samuels the websites were forwarded previously which contain immense information regarding these consultants.

We know that the bios were promised; in retrospect we always recommend that independent research be conducted by oneself to receive the necessary information at large.

We have entered the age of technology were everything is available via internet.

Feel free to continue to search for information regarding these consultants as all information is made public.

Have a wonderful weekend
