Fwd: CP/LP Sites of WA kinda suck

Hi, all -

Received the letter (below) today.  I don't like how he said it, but he's right.

Linde and I are involved in transpartisan alliance - a coalition (like this one) to work together on issues we agree upon.

It would be easy to create a Wordpress blog, linked to all of our websites, where we could compare/share endorsements.

No proselytizing, just explanations/reasons.  Does that make sense? 

LP endorses Sanders because we believe he best protects our rights.  Blah, blah, yadda, yadda, ya.

CP endorses Sanders because we believe he will protect our interests.  Etc., etc.

PP endorses Smith because he has a better record of  . . .  etc.  Yadda, yadda, yaha.

No attacks on each other, just opinions.

I envision like this . . .

LP -   Blah, blah, yadda, yadda, ya.

Supreme Court - Sanders

LP -   Yadda, yadda, yaha.

A Wordpress blog because we could each have our own identity to sign in and update quick and easy.  Cheap to host (nothing!).

You know guys,

Every election I check CP and LP websites for any candidates that may have gotten under my radar. Like most, I vote RepublicRat in the primaries, and then my ideology in the general.

Given, LP/CP has been hobbled in the Republic of Wash. Given.

BUT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! Not even an endorsement for the Judges, this way or that!

I vote, but every year my ballot is invalidated. If there is no one I find appealing, I write in my own name. This likely invalidates my ballot (as I'm not a certified, approved, authorized, gangraped write-in candidate). I don't mind that my vote goes invalidated. I don't play by their rules, I play by mine.

NONETHELESS, I can't look to C4L for endorsements, as they're not in the legal position to do so. At the minimum, I look to you two to vette candidates, make endorsements.... and every year, I am befuddled by the lack of planning. No, I don't have $5 to donate. No, I'm not going to volunteer to help out right now... but I would think that at a minimum the leadership would want to identify their positions on candidates FRONT PAGE during times of elections.

For fuck sake folks- why not table major issues of contention between the 2 of you (prayer in school, abortion, etc) and combine your efforts. Divided? Ah! Then Conquered!

It's like expecting a simple cup of tea, and the waitress shows up with pond water...
