Dear Devotees of Darjeeling,

 

Alliteration aside, we wanted to update you on a project we recently undertook.  CHY, which is a network group, recently launched, with the aid of many bal vihar teachers, an attempt at a National Bal Vihar Network (which we dubbed “Project Parle-G”), the purpose of which would be to unite all the various bal vihars where our children are learning about Hinduism, and help them share, meet, and learn from each other.  The feedback and enthusiasm was staggering (in a good way) and hopefully the BVN takes off and really helps keep the spirit and flame of our culture and tradition alive in the new generation.
