Please begin sharing any (accurate) information on candidates with CSPS members. What I have found from a casual web-based search:
Place 1 (Marc Chaloupka's former seat)
Joel Mitchell; a 46-yr-old engineer with Mitchell and Morgan; lists Ron Gay among his "facebook friends."
Paul Dorsett, a 34-yr-old owner of Expressions Dance and Music.
Nikki Williams, Secretary to Ann Ganter, who is director of Public Relations and the Education Foundation for CSISD. (District employees are not prohibited from running for Board positions.)
Place 2 (Tim Jones's former seat)
Carol Barrett, 45-yr-old Parent Representative on the Education Foundation's Board of Directors
Desiree (Desi) Allen Marek, 54-yr-old homemaker and business owner. She has blogged about her views on education:

Joel Walker, a 33-yr-old Asst. Professor of Physics at Sam Houston State University.
