Community,

First and foremost, there are folks who do not believe we have the right nor
ability to self-govern; this is bad enough.  Now we have the Advisory Board
president who called off tonight's meeting without consultation with
her fellow board members.  Who is she beholden to?

While Ms. Pinto was voted board president by her colleagues, she only has
*ONE
*vote and needs eight (8) other people to join her in this blatant act
of  disrespect. She has refused to return phone calls, e-mails, or give any
explanation as to why she *unilaterally* cancelled* this* board meeting.

Let me first say, there are board members who do not agree with her course
of action and will probably join us tonight.

So, make sure you are there to voice your opinion and share facts with
respect to a return to local control and the QSAC process.

See you at Science High at 6:00 PM TONIGHT.
