This event is the Milwaukee Sustainability planning. It should include transportation as a central component, especially since transportation is a major source for ozone, particulate, and global warming pollution; eats up open space, is dangerous, encourages segregation and equity issues, and on and on. There are clearer ways to travel, but we are not using them as much as we should be.
It is important that the planners hear from constituents about including transit, bike, pedestrian plans as a central part of their sustainability plan.
Transit needs to be a part of ALL plans!
