Hi all!
During FOSDEM we did the 0.4.0 release - codename eucalyptus. You can
find the release blog post announcement here:
http://wordpress.schuirmann.eu/2016/02/coala-0-4-eucalyptus/ .
While we're at it: FOSDEM was a huge success, many people, projects
and companies have expressed interest in using coala and it was good
that we finally went out of our little cave. We had 6 new contributors
for this release before FOSDEM and we're already seeing a peak of
people joining our Gitter channel - and using it - after.
We got a lot of feedback and are already acting upon that - the long
awaited Java Checkstyle integration is in the making and will probably
be merged within the next week. Basic go support via `go vet` and
`gofmt` was just merged today. Apparently quite some people want
Jenkins integration, which we have put on our roadmap now.
On March 18th to 20th FOSSASIA will happen. A few community members
have applied for a talk and a stand. We try to send a european member
with FOSDEM experience in addition which is not cheap - any donation
to
https://gratipay.com/coala/ would be appreciated.
Recently we've began twittering at
https://twitter.com/coala_analyzer/ .
There is an interview about coala at Hacker Public Radio:
hackerpublicradio.org/eps.php?id=1959 - starts at 1:24:55.
Cheers,
Lasse
