I've just pushed a fix to master branch for ISSUE-28
make sure you have the following environment

Apache Maven 3.5.3 (3383c37e1f9e9b3bc3df5050c29c8aff9f295297; 2018-02-24T11:49:05-08:00)
Maven home: /usr/local/Cellar/maven/3.5.3/libexec
Java version: 11.0.1, vendor: Oracle Corporation
Java home: /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk-11.0.1.jdk/Contents/Home
Default locale: en_US, platform encoding: UTF-8
OS name: "mac os x", version: "10.11.6", arch: "x86_64", family: "mac"

e.g. a new version of Maven and running under JDK11 if possible.

My next steps are to activate the Tika EnviHeaderParser automatically... I'll post an update once done.

Thanks
Lewis

Hi Dr. McGibbney,

Denim and I were trying to run the file manager and the crawler, but we are running into trouble (see screenshot below).

We have tried both the latest commit and older commits, but we are met with different dependency issues.

Here is the issue with older commits (around 22 days ago):

Here is the issue with the new commit:

Please let us know if you have any suggestions on how to fix this, as we will be presenting this today. We will continue to try to troubleshoot.

Best,
Kristen Cheung

Thank you for the quick fix! We are able to invoke the file manager and the crawler and the following is the output after running the commands:

File Manager:

Crawler:

So you can see here that the crawler has invoked the TikaCmdLineExtractor which in turn has only activated Tika's DefaultParser... this is not what we want.
We want the EnviHeaderParser to be invoked and used to extract metadata.
That is what I want to see.
I'll be leaving JPL in around 2 hour so see you all soon team.

Okay, we will continue to try and get that to work. We're currently looking into /usr/local/coal-sds-deploy/crawler/policy/tika-mimetypes.xml for the configuration but its not looking good so far. Please advise if we're heading towards the right direction or if we should be looking at another file to achieve the invocation.

Thank you, and see you soon.
