I am trying to create a water make in photoshop and im looking for flourshies or font that have flourishes in them to enhance my water mark. Can some one help me with this please does photoshop have a reposotory where I can find them
Some of the best flourished fonts no longer come as standard with Photoshop, What you can do is select Script from the font type, and scroll through with the Character panel open, and look for the most ligature options at the bottom of the panel
I imagine you'll know that you can convert text into a shape layer so that can copy parts of the workpath to combine with your own graphic? People are going to tell you that Illustrator is a better tool for this, and they are probley right, but not much help if you only have Photoshop.
Have you tried using the Glyphs panel (found within the Window menu)? This allows you to quickly see all of the characters contained within a font. Be sure to check out the dropdown menus within the Glyphs panel as these can show only the characters within particular categories such as Symbols or Ornaments. "Bickham Script" is a great font with a range of flourishes.
If you want a free font, include the word "Ornaments." That's the term for the little extra swooshes and things. "Flourishes" isn't what you want. If you can pay, here are some that I have that include oraments:
If you find my information useful and want to purchase from Mighty Deals, I would appreciate it if you would purchase from the link I posted. I get credit that I can use towards purchasing more fonts so I can post more information.
Still not convinced you NEED this font? Want to see if you can really handle the extra steps? Why not try first with a less expensive font that still has beautiful glyphs? Zelda is another Mighty Deals bargain at only $7. Not as many choices but still gorgeous.
An Electronic Doc license is based on the number of publications in which the font is used. Each issue counts as a separate publication. Regional or format variations don't count as separate publications.
We'll supply a kit containing webfonts that can be used within digital ads, such as banner ads. This kit may be shared with third parties who are working on your behalf to produce the ad creatives, however you are wholly responsible for it.
Digital advertisements also have different usage patterns compared to websites. Most websites generally have consistent pageviews month-to-month whereas advertising impressions can vary wildly month-to-month. Prices reflect this, making it much less expensive to use a Digital Ad license.
If you know the number of impressions the campaign requires, that amount can be ordered before the campaign begins. For campaigns where number impressions is unknown until the end of the campaign, you can true up at the end of each calendar month.
Webfonts allow you to embed the font into a webpage using the @font-face rule, so paragraphs and headings of text can be styled as the webfont. You will be serving the webfont kit for your own site and linking it in the CSS.
Webfonts can be used on a single domain. Agencies responsible for multiple websites, for example web design agencies or hosting providers, may not share a single webfont license across multiple websites.
At Graphiq, we think about data tables, charts, and infographics all day every day. Though we use Helvetica for most of our embeddable data visualizations, we do have several guidelines for picking number fonts and we are happy to share them with the world.
While those generic serif and san serif fonts come in handy when you are making a data table or dashboard, sometimes you also need fonts with a strong presence and personality when you are making an infographic and posters with huge numbers on it. Hence, here comes the display fonts recommendation list.
Lastly, there are some great fonts with beautifully designed numbers. The only issue with these is they are not tabular. If you are not overly concerned with vertical number alignment, they could be great choices as well.
In the world of serif fonts, there is Bitter. A great title font with great numbers. Like Montserrat and Poppins, Bitter is widely used around the world, and you should definitely consider using its numbers if you are using it as the title font.
Welcome to the Samantha font tutorial! Here you will find all of the training you need to start using the Samantha font. This is one of the most beautiful fonts around. It offers so much flexibility; opening up a world of possibilities in your designs!
I cannot recommend this font enough! The Samantha font is truly unique in how stylish and varied the glyphs are. I've spent literally hours searching for the "perfect" glyph. You can fine-tune your designs to perfection.
There are a lot of Samantha tips I have learned along the way doing my own designs, and I am going to share my favorite ones with you. The following will walk you through how to install the font, how to find the "perfect" glyphs, and how to use implement the font in an actual design project.
This one font is really all you need to get started. There are several different flavors of it, including Samantha Italic Pro (also usually selling for $17 individually on MightyDeals.com), or the option to buy the entire font bundle. The font bundle includes all four different variations on the Samantha font:
Typically, downloaded fonts will be a ZIP file. The one from MightyDeals that I bought was named SamanthaUprightPRO.zip. The name of the file that you see may be slightly different than mine, depending on what version of the font you purchased.
On a Windows machine, I recommend using the Character Map program. This is a built-in program that will already be installed on your machine, no matter what version of Windows you are running.
At the top of the window, open up the drop-down menu which will display a list of every font you have installed on your machine. Scroll through the list and select the Samantha Upright Font.
The grid of glyphs will refresh and it will display the massive list of glyphs available for this font. You can scroll them to view them all. Click on one of them to expand the image and get a slightly larger view of it.
The process of selecting glyphs and copying them into your clipboard is not so intuitive, so let me detail the process. Below, I have selected a glyph for the letter 'L' by left-clicking on it. In order to copy it, you first have to select it. Click the Select Button to add the glyph into the "Characters to copy:" textbox.
You will see that the 'L' glyph gets added into the "Characters to copy:" textbook. It is really, really small, but it is there. That is one of the quirks with Character Map that you'll just have to live with, the text size there is just too darned small.
First, we need to set up Font Book so that it is allowed to show us all of Samantha Font's wonderful letter fancifications (that's a word, right?). Go up to the top system bar and select View > Repertoire. This step is important! You won't see the glyphs if you don't set this.
6. We are going to replace the beginning "W" of the phrase with something a little bit fancier. Open up Font Book and select a capital W that strikes your eye. Left-click the glyph of your choice and copy it to your clipboard (Cmd + C).
10. Go through the rest of the text and replace the letters that you see fit. You can change as many or as few as you like. The Samantha font looks great all on it's own, but when you take the time to find the perfect glyph replacement, you can really take a design over the top.

So I made Samantha's Script, sort of classic decorative with a modern twist. Also I offer a decent amount of stylistic alternatives for many letters.
WHAT'S INCLUDED samantha's script contains standard characters, lowercase, uppercase, numbers, punctuation, stylistic style and international characters. You will receive OTF and TTF files.
Fonts can make or break a project. Whether it's on a T-shirt, an ad or a headline on a website, if a font is boring or really hard to read, you've already lost your audience. Finding the right elegant font can be particularly tricky, though, since the intricate detail can often render your words illegible. There's no shortage of fonts on the web, yet the really good ones, the outstanding ones often come with price-tags that immediately raise your blood-pressure. On the other hand, pricy fonts are not used by everyone. Chances are, that you'll not find them in each and every brochure or pizza menu out there.
That's why Laura Worthington's Samantha Script font is so perfect. Elegant and easy to read, not under too widespread usage, this beautiful font is also significantly marked down for a limited time, thanks to Mighty Deals. The full Samantha Script font family, which includes all 4 styles, normally sells for 300 US dollars. Did I not mention the word pricy before? But for a limited time only, you can get the entire family for $37! That equals a discount of 87% off the regular price!
