Hi,
Yesterday we had a another CoachRetreat (NR 16) in Belgium (Nr 3)
We now have another CoachRetreat facilitator: Inge Gorgon.
She did a wonderful job.
We had two recurring people, who gave the feedback that it was good to follow it twice (always once to hear)
1 recurring problem:
the slide deck moved forward again: the use rehearsal timings was turned on. That is like this on most power points in our dropbox. As I am on a mac, I want to ask if a current facilitator with acces to the dropbox could please open the ppt's and remove that check on all slide decks. Thank you.
Inge translated the situations to Dutch.
Situation 6 was used this time.
By the 4the iteration people in the exercises wanted to switch. We gave some tips on using an adapted version.
The last exercise was Crucial confrontations and we used an example that a participant gave in the introduction round, one of his kids called him out of his bed to ask if she could stay longer at a party.
For the future CoachRetreats, it would be nice if we could have a few more situations.
Some none agile, and some even non IT related situations to coach.
Who wants to help with that?

We had requests for a CoachRetreat in the Netherlands and Germany.

What means that the slide deck moved forward?
Interesgting feed-back about varying situation, I had remarks for varying maybe the coaching exercices . This came mainly from France , where people participated in 2 or 3 coach retreats already.

We had that too in Paris I think. when you present something suddenly the next slide is shown.

Hello,
You need to look to your slide show settings. I can only tell for Powerpoint, but I guess you have the same options on your MAC. Set the slide show Advance to Manually instead of using timings.

Hi Bart,
I'm asking other facilitators to do it, as the slides are in ppt format and I don't have a powerpoint on my mac. I have keynote. the problem should be fixed in the original files, as this problem is going around already at least a year.
(and yes I did fix it on Inge's machine, and I did not take the time to fix the other pp.'s. I should have done that. I wanted to do it yesterday, only to realise I no longer have powerpoint on my machine)
