Fwd: the week of the volunteer

Hi,

No idea if this is just a Belgium thing or it's international

In Belgium we celebrate the week of the volunteer.

I really don't want to say anything special. I really don't believe much in special days. if I don't say enough thank you the rest of the year, a few extra words won't make a different in a week like this. yet I do know that for some people these extra days and weeks are important. 

so how to deal with that?

The CoachRetreat mailing list, contains people who have been to coachRetreat and people who organise the retreats.

some people have met, most have not (as we are doing this in so many countries.)

so how to strengthen this community.

For me it always comes down to, being grateful to each other. 

There would not be a CoachRetreat community, if we don't have followers

I followed Jurgen when he had the idea

Oana followed us when she wanted to organise one in Paris

I followed Oana as her idea was so much better then what we had.

(what was I thinking before?)

And so many people followed us in Paris

And then you spread it to so many other cities and countries...

So I want to invite you all, to think about this community, think about a specific action or event that made a difference to you and thank a person that you think should be thanked for it
