2009 COAA-SCC Summer Workshop and Picnic

Recent Advances in Atmospheric and Oceanic Research

Dear members and friends:

The 2009 Chinese American Oceanic and Atmospheric Association-Southern
California Chapter (COAA SCC) Summer Workshop and Picnic will be held
on Saturday, 12 September 2009, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, at Caltech,
Beckman Institute, Room 173, 1200 East California Boulevard, Pasadena,
CA, 91125 (See map: http://www.caltech.edu/map). Registration will
begin at 9:30 am.

This workshop will focus on the recent advances in atmospheric and
oceanic research, covering field data analysis, modeling, remote
sensing, and all other related topics. Keynote speakers will be
invited. Both oral and poster presentations are warmly welcomed.

There is no registration fee! Catering lunch will be provided for the
picnic at $10/adult and $5 for additional adult in a family. Children
are free!

On behalf of the organizing committee, we welcome you and your family
members to the 2009 COAA SCC Summer Workshop. It is a great
opportunity to communicate with like mind and build your social
network for Chinese-American scholars and family members.

email, mark your presentation type (oral or poster), and reserve your
seat(s) before August 21 11:59pm (Friday), 2009.
