Mini-grant application for Great Hollow Nature Preserve

Dear Connecticut Ornithological Association Mini-Grant Committee, 

Great Hollow Nature Preserve and Ecological Research Center is pleased to submit a Mini-Grant application for your consideration. Our proposed project seeks to  expand existing purple martin colonies in Western Connecticut through the installation of a gourd tower at our preserve in New Fairfield, CT. We believe our project aligns with your organization’s funding priorities by benefiting this state listed species of special concern while also allowing for public observation and educational outreach. 

Attached is a copy of our application which includes the budget as well as plans for maintenance and predator exclusion. I have also included a copy of our organization’s non-profit determination letter.
