Hello Colorado 9-1-1 and GIS stakeholders -

On behalf of the 9-1-1 Task Force's GIS Committee, and with apologies for duplicate emails via the email lists, the webinar invite in the email below is shared as an opportunity to learn about the recently published NENA NG9-1-1 GIS Transition informational document (attached).

The intent of the new document is to...

assist those who have been tasked with becoming Geographic Information System (GIS) Data Providers for Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) or are otherwise involved in planning or executing an NG9-1-1 data transition. Transitioning GIS data from its current state to a state that supports NG9-1-1 may occur in different ways and with different methods, however the outcome is the same: GIS data to support geospatial call routing, location validation, and other Next Generation 9-1-1 Core Services (NGCS).

Please consider sharing the document and the webinar info with your GIS team, partner(s), or vendor as needed.

Best,

Matt Goetsch, Director, 970-240-1458, mgoe...@metsa911.org
Please be aware the office is closed on Fridays
