A U.S. Army Reserve major from Florida scheduled to report for
deployment to Afghanistan within days has had his military orders
revoked after arguing he should not be required to serve under a
president who has not proven his eligibility for office.
His attorney, Orly Taitz, confirmed to WND the military has rescinded
his impending deployment orders.
"We won! We won before we even arrived," she said with excitement. "It
means that the military has nothing to show for Obama. It means that
the military has directly responded by saying Obama is illegitimate –
and they cannot fight it. Therefore, they are revoking the order!"
She continued, "They just said, 'Order revoked.' No explanation. No
reasons – just revoked."
A hearing on the questions raised by Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook, an
engineer who told WND he wants to serve his country in Afghanistan,
was scheduled for July 16 at 9:30 a.m.
Join the petition campaign to make President Obama reveal his long-
form, hospital-generated birth certificate!
"As an officer in the armed forces of the United States, it is [my]
duty to gain clarification on any order we may believe illegal. With
that said, if President Obama is found not to be a 'natural-born
citizen,' he is not eligible to be commander-in-chief," he told WND
only hours after the case was filed.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Obama's opposition to taxing employer-

bill, the chairman

Sen. Max Baucus says lawmakers need to come up with $320 billion over

VIENNA (AP) - Iran is blocking U.N. nuclear agency attempts to
upgrade
monitoring of its atomic program while advancing those activities to
the stage
that the country would have the means to test a weapon within six
months,
diplomats told The Associated Press Friday.....
The diplomats emphasized that there were no indications of plans for
such a
nuclear test, saying it was highly unlikely Iran would risk heightened
confrontation
with the West—and chances of Israeli attack—by embarking on such a
course.
But they said that even as Iran expands uranium enrichment, which can
create
fissile nuclear material, it is resisting International Atomic Energy
Agency
attempts to increase surveillance of its enrichment site meant to keep

with the plant's increased size and complexity.
New polls show President Obama's popularity slipping a bit.
Fifty-seven percent of Americans surveyed approve of the job Obama's
doing as president, according
to a CNN Poll of Polls compiled and released Friday, with 36 percent
disapproving.
In early June, Obama's average approval rating was 62 percent. It
dropped a point to 61 percent in
mid-June and stayed at that level through the rest of the month.
"Recent polls indicate that Obama's lowest ratings -- and biggest
losses -- come on the public's
perception of how he is handling the economy," said Keating Holland,
CNN polling director.
Holland adds: "And the latest CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll shows a
double-digit drop in
the number of Americans who think that the president has a clear plan
for solving the country's
problems. The public may not be as willing to give Obama the benefit
of the doubt after six months
on the job as they did when he first took office."
Not casting any doubt just a question

If the feds end up spending that amount, it could be more than the
federal government has spent on any single effort in American
history.
For the government to be on the hook for the total amount, worst-case
scenarios would have to come to pass in a variety of federal programs,
which is unlikely, says Neil Barofsky, the special inspector general
for the government’s financial bailout programs, in testimony prepared
for delivery to the House oversight committee Tuesday.
The Treasury Department says less than $2 trillion has been spent so
far.
Still, the enormity of the IG’s projection underscores the size of the
economic disaster that hit the nation over the past year and the
unprecedented sums mobilized by the federal government under
Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama to confront it.
In fact, $23 trillion is more than the total cost of all the wars the
United States has ever fought, put together. World War II, for
example, cost $4.1 trillion in 2008 dollars, according to the
Congressional Research Service.
Even the Moon landings and the New Deal didn’t come close to $23
trillion: the Moon shot in 1969 cost an estimated $237 billion in
current dollars, and the entire Depression-era Roosevelt relief
program came in at $500 billion, according to Jim Bianco of Bianco
Research.
The annual gross domestic product of the United States is just over
$14 trillion.

Would health care reform bring "greater inefficiencies" to the
country's health care system?
That's exactly what Obama said Monday when he spoke about health care
reform at the Childrens National Medical Center in Washington.
"The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings
and inefficiencies to our health care system," Obama said in remarks
after a health care roundtable with physicians, nurses and health care
providers. "And greater stability and security to America's families
and businesses."
The White House quickly recognized the mistake and inserted a "sic" in
the remarks sent to reporters on Monday afternoon.
Josh Earnest, a White House deputy press secretary, said Obama
"misspoke" in his remarks.
"Everyone knew exactly what he was saying," Earnest said.

You need to re-watch all those episodes of Matlock that have given you
such a rich knowledge of jurisprudence. I don't think a single thing you
said above is correct. Lane did not "approve" of the judge's ruling on
immunity, the timing of the ruling is irrelevant to any appeal, tactical
decisions of counsel are not malpractice or grievable to the Bar
Association. Attorney fees are not recoverable in Colorado for an
unsuccessful appeal, and Churchill would be very badly advised to change
attorneys. Lane won the case on the 2 hardest legal points (1) did CU
violate the 1st Amendment, and (2) would CU have terminated Churchill
for some other "justifiable" reason i.e. academic misconduct. The only
reason CU "won" the case so far is that after the trial the judge
decided "you can't sue CU after all, they are immune". If anything,
having the trial occur before the judge ruled on immunity would help the
appeal because Lane can now point out that a jury after hearing the
evidence did find that CU violated the 1st amendment. If the judge had
ruled before the trial, Lane would not have that card to play.

JERUSALEM – President Obama's policies against Jewish construction in
eastern Jerusalem and the strategic West Bank were slammed as "racist"
today by participants in a rally drawing about 2,000 Israelis in front
of the U.S. consulate in Jerusalem.
"George Mitchell go home!" yelled protestors in front of the U.S.
government building.
Mitchell, Obama's envoy to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, is here
discussing the American administration's call for a halt to all Jewish
settlement activity, including natural growth or accommodating the
needs of existing Jewish populations in the areas in question.
The protest began in front of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's
official residence. Marchers then made their way to the U.S. consulate
about one block away.

WASHINGTON — The US budget deficit reached 1.3 trillion dollars for
the current fiscal year in July, official data showed, news set to
fuel opposition to US President Barack Obama's ambitious health care
and climate change proposals.
The deficit for the first 10 months of fiscal year 2009, which began
October 1, reached 1.3 trillion dollars, close to 880 billion dollars
greater than the deficit recorded through July 2008, said the US
Congressional Budget Office (CBO).
Outlays rose by almost 530 billion dollars, or 21 percent, and
revenues fell by more than 350 billion dollars, or 17 percent,
compared with the amounts recorded during the same period last year,
the non-partisan CBO said.
