A U.S. Army Reserve major from Florida scheduled to report for
deployment to Afghanistan within days has had his military orders
revoked after arguing he should not be required to serve under a
president who has not proven his eligibility for office.
His attorney, Orly Taitz, confirmed to WND the military has rescinded
his impending deployment orders.
"We won! We won before we even arrived," she said with excitement. "It
means that the military has nothing to show for Obama. It means that
the military has directly responded by saying Obama is illegitimate –
and they cannot fight it. Therefore, they are revoking the order!"
She continued, "They just said, 'Order revoked.' No explanation. No
reasons – just revoked."
A hearing on the questions raised by Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook, an
engineer who told WND he wants to serve his country in Afghanistan,
was scheduled for July 16 at 9:30 a.m.

"As an officer in the armed forces of the United States, it is [my]
duty to gain clarification on any order we may believe illegal. With

You need to re-watch all those episodes of Matlock that have given you
such a rich knowledge of jurisprudence. I don't think a single thing you
said above is correct. Lane did not "approve" of the judge's ruling on
immunity, the timing of the ruling is irrelevant to any appeal, tactical
decisions of counsel are not malpractice or grievable to the Bar
Association. Attorney fees are not recoverable in Colorado for an
unsuccessful appeal, and Churchill would be very badly advised to change
attorneys. Lane won the case on the 2 hardest legal points (1) did CU
violate the 1st Amendment, and (2) would CU have terminated Churchill
for some other "justifiable" reason i.e. academic misconduct. The only
reason CU "won" the case so far is that after the trial the judge
decided "you can't sue CU after all, they are immune". If anything,
having the trial occur before the judge ruled on immunity would help the
appeal because Lane can now point out that a jury after hearing the
evidence did find that CU violated the 1st amendment. If the judge had
ruled before the trial, Lane would not have that card to play.

WASHINGTON — The US budget deficit reached 1.3 trillion dollars for
the current fiscal year in July, official data showed, news set to
fuel opposition to US President Barack Obama's ambitious health care
and climate change proposals.
The deficit for the first 10 months of fiscal year 2009, which began
October 1, reached 1.3 trillion dollars, close to 880 billion dollars
greater than the deficit recorded through July 2008, said the US
Congressional Budget Office (CBO).
Outlays rose by almost 530 billion dollars, or 21 percent, and
revenues fell by more than 350 billion dollars, or 17 percent,
compared with the amounts recorded during the same period last year,
the non-partisan CBO said.

Insurance Company Joins Lawyers.com, Procter & Gamble, Progressive Insurance
and SC Johnson in Distancing Themselves from FNC Anchor
OAKLAND, Calif.--Adding to a growing list of advertisers distancing
themselves from controversial Fox News personality Glenn Beck, GEICO has
pledged to re-direct their advertisements away from Beck's program on the
Fox News Channel. The decision by GEICO comes on the heels of announcements
made last week that LexisNexis-owned Lawyers.com, Procter & Gamble,
Progressive Insurance and SC Johnson were distancing themselves from Beck
after the news host called President Obama a "racist" who "has a deep-seated
hatred for white people."

GEICO Corporate Communications in an email to ColorOfChange.org. (said) "As
of August 4, GEICO no longer runs any paid advertising spots during Mr.
Beck's program."
