Co-working day - this Thursday, 7th August

The gods have spoken. Well, 14 enthusiastic technologists have ticked
some boxes on a web page which is *almost* as impressive, and forced
upon us an ideal date.

The next Co-working Manchester day will take place at Manchester
Science Park from 9:30am on the 7th August 2008.

I apologise for the late run on this e-mail but it's been rather
hectic here at Co-working Organisation HQ.

We're in the building called "Greenheys" somewhere around about here:

Specifically, Unit 45 of Greenheys, Manchester Science Park, M15 6JJ.

We're going to be doing the usual mixture of co-working with breakout
sessions as and when we feel the need. There will be WiFi, coffee,
tea, biscuits, and in this venue even a vending machine or two
(glamorous, eh?)

Things we intend to be doing:

- Possibly a trip over to the guys behind http://www.openspace.coop 5
mins around the corner, who we want to work with (rather than against)
- Pub lunch for me. You're welcome to join me. :-)
- Maybe looking at a unit or two on the Science Park we could take over
- Sifting through property listings of other places around Manchester
that might be suitable for other co-working sites
- Working on our usual day-to-day work

I just want to apologise - the eventwax sign-up page mentioned a 4pm
meeting on Fly the Coop - we're not doing that now, as time does not
permit for us to get things organised, but myself and Ben will be
discussing such things during the day itself.

Please don't just turn up at 4pm for that meeting, it's not happening!
