John, David and I have experienced people's confusion with the
accordion toggle on the homepage. I've updated the arrow, so check it
out and gimme your thoughts. "Open?" "Slide?" "Click?" "Oooooh,
pretty?" What should it say?

I have also made the drop shadow for the gray bar and its in the
images folder called toggle.gif. I would have added it to the CSS on
my own, but don't want to mess with the Subversion stuff without
having a proper understanding of it (and my own account/username).
John, care to update it? Lookin' good!

good job on following through with this cesar. the image looks highly pixelated on my screen over here. tried it in in IE and firefox. I like "open". some others: reveal, learn, read, uncover, start, push.  it looks very elevator-ish to me, so maybe a word that connotes that. I also would suggest a color accent on the down arrow. a green would be great as green is synonymous with go.

I think the code has the exact size of the old GIF, which has now
changed to 26x40 pixels. I guess my Mac smoothed it out for me.
Nice!

In a Photoshopping frenzy, here's something fun, because John and I
had the same idea at different times:

oh nice.

Jon had a good idea just now. what if we just made the entire page a hyperlink to bring down the info. ..so like, you can just click anywhere on the screen.

1) I dunno...I think that's almost like actually being there for every
user and clicking on the page for them. It has to be a discovery
because the payoff is so awesome. They should be anticipating what
happens when you click, not caught off guard by it (which distracts
them and they miss half of what's going on).

2) At some point, rather than having the div be dead center for
everyone's browser, can we just make it however many pixels down it
will take to place the logo directly behind the skyline in whatever
screen resolution you're at (i.e.: it's about 1000 pixels from the top
to place the logo nicely behind the Frost Tower)? Am I making any
sense today?

3) In other news, I love this design (and it's an interesting site):
http://egos.alltop.com. Let's implement it somewhere down the road
for something.

Most people will try to click on the big conjunctured. It would be
good if that initiated the drop-down as well.

I implemented your gradient Cesar and synced subversion with
everything on the ftp.

Maybe we could give the user a hint if they click the logo... like
shake the "open" button or something.
