Hi all:

We had a great year in 2010 with the Performance Management Special
Interest Group (SIG)! We started with our ROI program and then
enjoyed several meetings before our co-sposorship of the Performance
Management workshop with SHRM.

During our recent CNY ASTD competency program, it was clearly noted
that Measurement and Evaluation are a key focus for many of our
membership. This is also an area of interest for Grechen Jolly and
for myself. We have decided to co-sponsor a Measurement and
Evaluation SIG.

We are very excited to focus on this new SIG which will leverage some
of our own skills. Gretchen has received a certification from The ROI
Institute in Phillips' Return on Investment (ROI) methodology. I have
recently completed a certification program from the Kirkpatrick
Partners on the basics of the Kirkpatrick Four Levels of Evaluation
Model. We know that there are others out there with great knowledge
and expertise in M & E. If you are interested, there will be more
information advertised soon and we will let you know how to join and
participate.

In the meantime, if you are interested in leading continued meetings
for the Performance Management SIG, please contact Candyce Robb,
myself or Gretchen to discuss this opportunity.

Thank you for your support over the past year - we look forward to
continue collaborating with you and with CNY ASTD.

Hello All,

I'd be happy to coordinate programs if there is still interest in performance management. I've got a couple of ideas for programs, such as:
  • Asking an HR person from companies who have performance management systems to show their systems and discuss implementation.
  • I have an associate who has received an HCS (Human Capital Strategist) certification from the Human Capital Institute. We could ask her about the program and how she has used the information within her company
Please let me know if there is interest in this sort of thing!

Best wishes,

Cyn Worden Lee

I'm interested, and would love to broaden possible topics to include performance development, perhaps including talent management and development, coaching, etc.

So count me in!

Best,

Ken
