We had a lively discussion on Friday at Panera about "Building the
Business Case for Measurement & Evaluation".  We talked about getting
the executives to the table or inviting them to our table.  We
discussed a wide range of potential strategies, best practices and
roadblocks.  Thank you to all for your valued contributions!  Here are
a couple of comments from our evaluation sheets:  “Thought provoking
discussion”, “Thinking differently about M & E, focusing on the
future”.   We will plan out next discussion in May to focus on the
controversy between Return on Investment (ROI) measurements (Phillips)
and Return on Expectations (ROE) measurements (Kirkpatrick).  We hope
to see you there!

You weren’t able to come?  You still have a chance to share!  Please
send a note about ways you have been able to work with leaders to
build the business case for measurement and evaluation.
