Subject: [asap_members] INVITATION: April 11th ASAP Technical Assistance Event

All,

ASAP has been working with Board members and partners to develop capacity to assist behavioral health services providers in transforming their services to optimize their success as Medicaid redesign, healthcare reform and managed care change the entire healthcare service landscape. As a result of those discussions, we have coordinated an impressive team of consultants, listed below, who will be attending a Technical Assistance event hosted by ASAP on April 11th at the Hilton Garden Inn near the Albany Medical Center (62 New Scotland Ave Albany, NY 12208 Main: 518-396-3500). We invite providers across the state to attend this important event to engage in a dialogue with this team of consultants, and lay the foundation for ongoing regional work aimed at the potential development of provider networks, preparation for working within the managed care system, development of management services organizations, and other strategies and innovations that will help to ensure the future success of behavioral health service providers across the state.

We understand that prevention, treatment, and recovery services providers are increasingly concerned about how their programs will be impacted by the transformations happening on many fronts within the healthcare system.  It is our hope that the expertise provided by our team of consultants will help providers mitigate those concerns and arm themselves with a workable plan for moving ahead, while keeping a focus on providing the best quality care to all who are in need around the state.

Please RSVP to Ashley (abe...@asapnys.org) with your intent to attend on April 11th. There is a fee of $55 for ASAP members and $70 for non-members to register for this important one day event. Please make checks payable to ASAP (1 Columbia Place Albany NY 12207). We have a room block set up at the Hilton Garden Inn for the evenings of 4/10 and 4/11 for those who are in need of overnight accommodations. Please use the code “ASAP” when making your reservation to receive the discounted room rate.  This will be an all day event, with breakfast and lunch served.   We look forward to this important gathering, and to seeing many of you in April.
