napa cabbage larva spray?

Does anyone spray for the larger grey larva that burrows into the napa
cabbage heads? We sprayed for the cabbage looper twice with Dipel and
kept plants covered from transplant to harvest, but they still have a
lot of damage from the large grey larva. We have it every year, and
need a better solution.
