诸位好，本学期首都师范大学第二次数论与代数几何讨论班将于下周举行：

地点：首都师范大学北二区教学楼513教室（此校区在西三环紫竹桥南首师大北一区的街对面，走一个过街天桥即到）
报告人：孙晟昊 副教授 (清华大学数学科学中心)
题目：A theorem of Grothendieck-Deligne on monodromy groups
摘要：We go over the statement and proof of a theorem of Grothendieck-Deligne on monodromy groups over function fields. Basically it says that, if the geometric monodromy group is reductive, then it is in fact semisimple.
