报告题目:Invariant Brauer subgroup and iterated descent obstruction 


报告摘要:

I will talk on my result: for a smooth quasi-projective variety over a number field,   the iterated descent obstruction is equivalent to the descent obstruction. For smooth, projective varieties, this answers an open question of Poonen.  The key idea  is the notion of invariant Brauer subgroup and the notion of invariant étale Brauer-Manin obstruction for a smooth variety equipped with an action of a connected linear algebraic group.

题目:Finiteness theorems and cycle class maps for zero-cycles over local fields (after S. Saito, K. Sato, M. Kerz, H. Esnault, O. Wittenberg et al)

摘要:Let X be a smooth projective variety over a complete discrete valuation field K, and let A_0(X) be its Chow groups of zero-cycles of degree 0. This talk will be a survey on recent works on the structure of A_0(X), especially finiteness theorems, by S. Saito, K. Sato, M. Kerz, H. Esnault, O. Wittenberg et al. I will mainly focus on the case where K is a p-adic field, for which Saito and Sato proved a conjecture of Colliot-Thelene by using a cycle class map defined over regular models of X. Time permitting, the more general case where K has a perfect residue field will also be sketched.

摘要: In this talk, I plan to describe explicit formulas for the number of superspecial abelian surfaces over finite fields and of the isomorphism classes of their endomorphism rings. I will also explain key ingredients in the computation. This is joint work with Jiangwei Xue and Tse-Chung Yang.

报告题目: HIGHER EISENSTEIN ELEMENTS, HIGHER EICHLER FORMULAS AND
RANK OF HECKE ALGEBRAS

 

摘要:In his classical work, Mazur considers the Eisenstein ideal I of the Hecke algebra T acting on
cusp forms of weight 2 and level N where N is prime. When p is an Eisenstein prime, i.e. p
divides the numerator of (N-1)/12 , denote by H the completion of T at the maximal ideal generated
by I and p. This is a Zp-algebra of finite rank as a Zp-module. In this talk, I'll report some recent progress on this rank.
