TrainingsWinter fruit tree pruning workshop - Vancouver, WAWhether your garden is a large rural acreage or a small city lot, fruit trees make a wonderful, edible landscape addition. The WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardener program is partnering with Monica Maggio of Core Home Fruit on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 to offer a fruit tree pruning workshop for community members who have or who are considering getting fruit trees. The workshop is from 10am to 2:30 p.m. It starts with a classroom presentation at the Luke Jensen Sports Complex community room in Vancouver, WA. After a brown bag lunch break, the class will move to the 78th Street Heritage Farm orchard for a hands-on winter pruning lesson in the afternoon.
