services to immigrants and refugees. We have openings for people interested
in a variety of tasks, including tutoring, mentoring, assisting in our
classes, and many other exciting opportunities. We are in search of committed
people who are passionate about working with international populations. The

Stewardship Saturdays are once or twice monthly volunteer workparties
hosted by the Columbia
Slough Watershed Council. In pursuit of our mission to connect the
community with the watershed and foster action to protect the watershed, we
invite you, your community group, church group, school or business to join
us!
Stewardship Saturday activities often include native plant planting and
maintenance, invasive plant species removal, garbage and litter removal and
trial maintenance. Activities are great for school and community groups,
businesses and individuals and they take place all around North and Northeast
Portland. See which one's in your neighborhood!
