Calero County Park - Pena and Figueroa Trail Hike

Enjoy the trails and the spectacular views of Calero County Park on May 3rd. We will hike through mixed serpentine terrain and enjoy different plant communities. The trail starts with some climb in grasslands and loops around chaparral before returning along a creek. This hike will be about 3.6 miles long with an elevation gain of 580 feet. Some flowers seen in past pears at this season include buttercups, lupines, fiddlenecks, and iris along with red wing blackbirds.RSVP is required to join us for the walk. Space is limited. No drop-ins please.
