Hi and first thanks for this great open source project =) I am new to
Django and Python so forgive me if this is a trivial question.

I installed everything in the INSTALL file and I also ran syncdb so
the website runs fine. However I encountered an error after
attempting to register through openid.

AttributeError at /account/register/
'NoneType' object has no attribute 'is_authenticated'

/cnprog/django_authopenid/views.py in register
346. elif user_.is_authenticated():

This is after logging in through gmail with openid and posting
username and email. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

quick question... did you enter full email address for google login?
It may LOOK like gmail login but it requires full email address
instead of gmail id.

cheers,

Yes I typed in the full email address. I think I figured it out
though -- I entered a screen name that was already taken and I think
that caused the error. When I picked a screen name that was not
registered it worked. In debug mode the above error came up and in
non-debug mode a 500 error comes up. Would it be possible to specify
this error so registering users will be notified to change their
screen name? Thank you!
