EPIC - FYI Flags

Hi everyone! Sorry (not sorry) for so many questions, but I like to hear what other facilities are doing. 

Does anyone utilize EPIC and their FYI flags? We recently switched to EPIC March 1st and we were very excited for the FYI flags as we put ED, Inpatient, and Nursing Care plans there - for patients with specific visitor restrictions, discharge information, things to be aware of, behavior plans, etc. 

However, staff are missing reading this information as the flag icon seems to blend into the storyboard. I asked if the flag can show up on the brain and I am told there is no more room for any other icons. I am concerned because the care plans are being missed and we have had multiple safety issues as a result. 

How do your organizations utilize the flag and make sure people are reading the information?
