Hello! We are onboarding 2 new CNLs to the organization. Does anyone have a premade orientation packet or skills checklist they use? Thanks in advance!

I know I am late to this thread- I always forget this resource is here.

I would like to see what you are using as well.  I work in the VA and I have samples of different facilities within our system, but I would like to learn more about the role outside of the VA.  I see you are the manager of the CNLs.  In our system, we work as a "Triad management"  with the Nurse Manager of the unit as our boss, and the same level as an assistant nurse manager, but with no administrative duties.  But- every VA does it differently.  That is the St. Louis Va.  It is frustrating because many NMs don't know what we are supposed to do, and aren't even required to have an MSN, and do not appreciate some of the research and work that goes into some of our projects.  I would really like to further the role of the CNL in the midwest, but I need to learn more about the role in places where it is more accepted and normal.
Any information you could share would be great!

Thanks in advance!
