Dear Colleagues,

I attended Marilyn Oermann's wonderful session at the CNLA Summit this year on helping CNLs get published. A big barrier highlighted in her session to getting manuscripts published is time.

As I am getting my QI project ready for publication, I want to know if people have experience hiring an editor/manuscript writer as co-author who can take my original content and format it and perhaps condense the content for review? I have also found a statistician as co-author who can take my data and produce tables, graphs, etc that will translate the data I've collected better than I can.

Something I agree with Marilyn on is that a project is a team approach. With time as a big barrier, finding these co-collaborators I feel would really help with time and disseminating my work.

I am still navigating research and trying to find my way through all the cobwebs. I'd greatly appreciate anyone out there in our CNLA stratosphere who can provide me with some feedback, resources and lessons learned.

Many thanks!

P.S. Graduating next month and sitting for CNL exam this summer. SO EXCITED!
