Revised Procedure for Cash Incentives in Export

Greetings from Confederation of Nepalese Industries!

This is for your kind information that, Government of Nepal has regulated the procedure to claim the Cash Incentives of Export by “Procedure of Cash Incentives in Export 2075”.

Recently it has been amended by “1^st Amendment of the Procedure of Cash Incentives in Export 2076”.

New rule says,

1- Exporter has to self-declare the value addition (Formula to calculate the value addition has been provided)

2- Department of Industry (DOI) will verify the document and provide the letter within 3 days of request.

3- Exporter has to reflect the amount receivable on the Balance Sheet of the respective Fiscal Year of the Export.

4- Exporter has to claim the Incentives within 2 month (60 days) from the end of the month of Export.

We have attached herewith the self-explanatory letter received from Department of Industry (DoI). Additionally we have attached both the documents mentioned hereabove for your ready reference.

CNI would like to request all its concerned members to follow the procedure prescribed by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Government of Nepal.
