Energy Audit Option with the World Bank

CNI is pleased to announce that we are working on a pilot project to do Energy Audits for Industries in Nepal, as part of our overall aim to improve energy efficiency and competitiveness of our member industry.

 

We are working with the World Bank, to work with one industry as a pilot case.  We are working with the World Bank to fund the cost of the Energy Audit and to get a team from India or elsewhere to do a detailed study and make recommendations.  The cost of executing the recommendations will of course be borne by the industry in question. 

 

If you are interested to be part of the Pilot Project, please do send in a short note to the CNI secretariat.

To my understanding with IFC, energy audit will come from India, & they can accommodate more than one project. To be more specific, they can do 10 preliminary audits to begin with .

So I advice more industries could enroll here.
